A Walk to Remember: Week Four

Time flies so fast; I’m almost at half of my summer practicum.

April 29, 3014

Since that the event of CHN Department is just around the corner, my supervisor and I, together with my co-interns in the department attended the meeting for the Global Week of Action. The focus of that meeting is the distribution of tasks and what would be the flow of the program. Luckily, Mallory and I were assigned in the registration booth in which we were tasked to welcome the guest and allow them to write their names in which cluster they are affiliated. Also, we were assigned to give an update about the guests who were coming in.

During this day, together with the interns of CHN Department we helped them prepare the materials needed for the Survive 5 booth.

We got two jobs for this day; first, we set up the booth for the Global Week of Action which includes petition section, pledges for the support on breastfeeding and photo gallery. On this day, we also assisted the CHN Department to their internal campaign, in which, during our Corporate Friday Devotion time, the CHN Department came up with a short program for the employees and raise their awareness about Milk Code.

Second, we presented our proposed materials to our supervisor for the upcoming Children’s Learning Event. We thought of producing brochures with stickers and things that are written in brochures were the rights of the child itself.
